In my latest release on Mystery Circles, "Season of Strangers," I deviate from Eric Satie's definition of "furniture music" and Brian Eno's definition of "ambient music" with a counterpoint approach and polyrhythmic complexity, I have explored a new vision of ambient music.

Although the production of the last album was very painful, it was very satisfying in terms of my artistic creed, "to create a feeling like nothing I have ever experienced before.

This album retains some of the complex ambient music elements that I experimented with in Season of Strangers, but it is basically a work that I enjoyed making because I didn't have to think about what I was doing when I made the music.

It starts with the lead track "Trope," which I recorded about 10 years ago by holding an iPhone app directly into a microphone, and continues with the next track, which I made from field recordings I made in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, this past October. "Water Mirror Garden".
Surface Tension" and "Topography" were made with Modular Synthsizer and some pedals. The final track is "Heritage," a textural representation of various samples I have recorded.
Trope was posted on SoundCloud about 10 years ago and has been uploaded by various people in various media, but this is the first official mix of the album.
